I have been meaning to do this post for soooo long and only getting around to it now. I have just recently moved to Vancouver, Canada as you do haha. Ok anyway most of my makeup is from MAC, Fuschia, Urban Decay & Benefit. Their products can be a bit pricey so I decided to create an everyday look using other items I have in my makeup bag that you can buy in pharmacy's for nearly half the price.
However......I am completely addicted to Fuschia Mineral makeup and can not leave the house without it so I obviously put it on over the foundation I used. I think every foundation needs set with this whether its Chanel, Armani or Rimmel. You don't need to use this but it makes my makeup last and gives a dewy glow to the skin:):)
You can buy it on www.fuschia.ie
Firstly, I used Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser on my t-zone and then added L'Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade Golden Sand all over my face. Next I used the Fuschia Mineral Foundation Powder with Rimmel Stay Matte Setting Powder on top.
Maybelline Eye Eraser in Light
I used this under the eye area and on blemishes. To cover blemishes a dabbing motion works best with a sponge instead of a swiping motion.
Rimmel blush in shade Santa Rose, smile and add to the cheeks.
NYX Matte Bronzer in Tan (I can buy this cheap in London Drugs in Vancouver although Amazon sells a lot of NYX products at a decent price too ;) I put this under my jaw line, below my cheek bones, on the top of my forehead and down the sides of my nose (remember to blend after and if you have a naturally skinny face don't over do the contouring :)
Rimmel Pallette in Brixton Brown (5 Pan) I used the brown and copper/maroon shades on the outer corner of the eye and the cream on the inside near the tear duct. I blended them altogether for a soft finish. I like to take my eye shadow up a tiny bit above the crease as it makes the eyes appear bigger. (If you have big eyes you don't need to do that) I also used the brown shade for my eyebrows, I focus more on the ends of my eyebrows and not the inner part near the nose. Filling that area in can look over the top and too dramatic.
Maybelline Drama Gel Liner on top of the lid and in the waterline. Doing small sections at a time and stretching the eye makes this a lot easier!!
Maybelline Mascara Volume Turbo Black (3 coats) I didn't add lashes because I couldn't find my Ardell glue ha...devastated!
New Look (The clothes shop) Lip liner in Nude/Pink. These lip liners are amazing and so affordable, I'm raging I didn't take loads with me!
NYX Lip Cream in shade Stock Home 002
I got my scarf for $14 on Robson Street which is like £7!! It looks and feels like a legit Burberry scarf, near died! Need to stock up on these to send back home for presents :):)
